The nectarine is a genetic variant of the peach, despite its smaller size. Moreover, nectarines have got more intensive taste.
It is a fruit of a more or less spherical shape with a suture line and a cavity around the stalk.
Its skin is soft, of an attractive colouring, and very tasty pulp.
